Montreal: road obstacles to be expected during the weekend

Automobile traffic will be hampered on certain highways in the greater Montreal area during the weekend. & nbsp;

In downtown Montreal, rue Saint-Jacques has been closed between boulevard Robert-Bourassa and rue Mansfield since Thursday. The closure will remain in effect until Saturday at 7 p.m. & nbsp;

Saint-Patrick Street will be completely closed during the day on Saturday, between rue d'Argenson and rue Charlevoix. & Nbsp;

The Honoré-Mercier Bridge will be partially closed in both directions from Friday 10:30 p.m. to Saturday morning. & nbsp;

In Brossard, the MTQ plans to close 2 out of 3 lanes southbound Saturday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. & nbsp;

In L'Assomption, we plan to close route 343 for Autoroute 40 westbound, from Friday 19 a.m. to Monday 4 a.m. In addition, a detour is suggested via routes 341 and 344. & nbsp;

Finally, between Boisbriand and Laval, the Gédéon-Ouimet bridge will be closed in the south direction, while in the north direction, traffic will be in the wrong direction for a week. The closure will be in effect from Sunday, November 28 to Sunday, December 5, from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. & nbsp;
