More awards for Beyoncé and Rihanna
|DAY
Beyoncé and Rihanna added awards to their respective accolades collection on Monday night, following the NAACP Image Awards virtual awards party.
< p>The NAACP Image Awards are awards presented to artists in film, television, music and literature for their achievements and performances as people of color.
Hosted by actor Khleo Thomas, this first evening aimed to award prizes in the categories of exceptional recording.
Beyoncé won the most awards, including Outstanding Female Artist, Outstanding Soul/R&B Song for Cuff It, and Outstanding Album for em>Rebirth. We remember that the prize for the album of the year had escaped him during the last Grammys ceremony, which had given rise to many questions and cries of injustice from his admirers. < /p>
With 5 mentions, Beyoncé finds herself tied with Kendrick Lamar for the most nominations in the music recording categories.
