More than 1,000 Gard wine farms will benefit from state aid this April

Emergency aid for viticulture will be paid from the start of April according to the Gard prefecture.
8.53 M€ of the 80 M€ emergency aid from the State for viticulture will benefit more than a thousand Gard winegrowers. This is the announcement this Tuesday, April 2, from the Gard prefecture which recalls that the application submission window was open on February 12 and closed on March 20.
More than 1 300 requests for support have been submitted to the services of the Department of Territories and the Sea of Gard : & quot;Following an investigation carried out in close association with departmental agricultural representatives to respond as closely as possible to the needs of Gard wine growers, the first payments will take place in the first days of April. The amounts to be collected will depend on the vineyard surface area of the operation and will be limited by a ceiling established according to the type of operation or the type of loss."
The payment of bank fees linked to the restructuring of loans or a request for a blank year may be added depending on the prefecture.
