UPGRADE DAY

An investment of $20 million will enable the addition of 11 classes at Sacré-Coeur high school in Gatineau.

Students in the region de l'Outaouais will benefit from the expansion and redevelopment of a secondary school in Gatineau, since the investments will allow the creation of 11 additional classes in the region.

“These works will have direct and positive effects on the lives of thousands of people, starting with our young people. I know that this project was expected by the community,” said the minister responsible for the Outaouais region, Mathieu Lacombe.

The renovations to Sacré-Coeur school will be done using materials from our home, thus contributing to Quebec's economic recovery, according to Jean-François Roberge, Minister of Education.

“By renovating or building schools in an inspiring way, we are telling them that their school has an important mission and that we are doing what is necessary to honor it,” added Minister Roberge.
