More than 200 motorhomes and vans at the Nîmes exhibition center until Sunday

The Nîmes exhibition center is hosting the motorhome, van and converted van show from this Thursday until Sunday April 28. More than 3,000 visitors are expected.

Vans with opening roofs, vans with integrated toilets, premium motorhomes with dressing rooms: the visitors who will wander the park's paths until this Sunday exhibitions will be spoiled for choice. "To each their own vehicle according to their needs", indicates Andréa Raynaud in charge of events at the TPL dealership which is organizing the motorhome, van and converted van show in Nîmes. A sector which "is doing very well", according to the latter, particularly since the health crisis. "The vanlife trend has always existed but it’s accelerated. People are more looking for escape and adventure. There was very strong demand", assures the project manager. And the prices displayed – you need to count on average between 60,000 and 70,000 euros for a leisure vehicle – do not hinder potential future buyers.

"Having the freedom to stop wherever you want"

More than 3,000 people are expected throughout the weekend to discover the approximately 200 models, new or used, offered for sale. Last year, around a hundred vehicles found buyers following the show. This year, Jean-Claude and Marie may be among them. This Thursday, this couple from Montpellier walked the aisles looking for a vehicle that could both be used on vacation, but also used the rest of the year. "What we want above all is to have the freedom to be able to stop wherever we want".
