More than 350 work-study positions to be filled immediately in the Alès area

Plusieurs centres de formations organisent la première édition d’un nouveau forum de l’apprentissage, ce mercredi 18 septembre sur le parvis du Cratère d’Alès.

Every year, the main training centers in the Alès basin that offer work-study training claim to have made the same observation. In September, more than 350 apprenticeship and work-study training offers, issued by companies in the Basin or the rest of the Gard, are still available.

A situation that demonstrates a need for work-study programs among professionals, and that trainers would like to be able to fill.

An open-air forum in the city

Thus, around ten establishments and structures have decided, in order to reverse the trend, to organize, at the start of the school year, a new “learning objective forum”. Its first edition will be held this Wednesday, September 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on the forecourt of the Cratère.

“The idea was to be able to do something together, in order to show all the diversity of possible training courses in and around Alès, explains Nathalie Rivenq, director of the Purple campus in Alès, one of the participants in the event. We want to create a dynamic between the campuses with this. This can help a young person who does not yet have a company for their work-study program. Many of them are also without solutions after registering their wishes on the Parcoursup platform."

From CAP to Bac + 5

Among the 350 or so offers that will be available, we find "a wide variety of training courses" : hairdressing, beauty, agriculture, security, landscaping, real estate, communication, cooking, mechanics, bodywork, home care… Training courses that can go from "from CAP to Bac + 5 depending on the courses."

In addition to the Purple campus, the CFA du BTP du Gard, the high schools of La Salle and Pasteur, the CFA école cévenole, the CNAM, Alès Myriapolis are among the trainers announced. Companies, in the recruitment phase, are also planned and ready to meet potential candidates.
