A motorcyclist was seriously injured in the night from Thursday to Friday, in the Laurentians, after a violent swerve which could have been caused by alcohol.
The 45 year-old male was driving on the chemin des Mille-Isles, Mille-Isles, when he reportedly lost control of his vehicle, thus missing a curve and then go on to face a pole, according to the first findings of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
Someone who was by this path the campaign has alerted the police officers to 1: 15 in the morning.
The motorcyclist, who is a native of Saint-Colomban in the region, has been transported to the hospital with serious injuries. When the SQ has sent a press release Friday afternoon, the life of man was no longer in danger.
Nobody else has been indisposed in the event that occurred in a rank where the speed limit is fixed at 70 km/h.
It is not clear at what speed drove the motorcycle, but police still suggested that alcohol could be involved.
