Murder in Chemin-Bas-d’Avignon: a man shot dead

A man in his thirties was the victim of a homicide on Sunday evening around 10:30 p.m. on rue Hélène Boucher.

A man in his thirties was killed on Sunday evening on Chemin-Bas-d'Avignon around 10:30 p.m. He was allegedly first assaulted during a fight with several individuals. According to our information, five or six individuals were present. Some of them allegedly took part in the fight. A first shot was reportedly fired. The thirty-year-old allegedly tried to get back into his car to flee and was again targeted by gunfire. He allegedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a wall on Avenue De Lattre de Tassigny. The car allegedly caught fire. Local residents witnessing the scene allegedly tried to intervene to pull out the thirty-year-old who was seriously injured. Emergency services were able to intervene, including the Samu, who tried in vain to revive the victim. He was pronounced dead around 11 p.m. An investigation is underway to try to identify the perpetrators of the shooting. They allegedly fled in a stolen car.
