That's what announced Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar after his team's 6-4 win Saturday in Game 3 of the first-round series against the Seattle Kraken.
The Avalanche pilot the Colorado team did not release details of his departure. Moreover, he was unable to reveal when the 28-year-old forward would be able to rejoin his teammates.
I asked the agent of Valeri Nichushkin if his leave for personal reasons might last a while and he said “can't say”

Reporter Adrian Dater attempted to shed light on this story by contacting Nichushkin's agent, but was unsuccessful. It is impossible to know if Nichushkin's absence could last for a long time.
Bednar made it clear that Nichushkin's absence was not related to disciplinary sanctions by the team.
The Russian has scored one goal in two playoff games he has appeared in. This one was not in the alignment of his team during the last meeting.
