Ce mardi 18 juin, la reprise de la marque Naf Naf, placée en redressement judiciaire en septembre 2023, a été annoncée. La très grande majorité des emplois devraient être sauvés.

The women's ready-to-wear brand Naf Naf was taken over on Tuesday by a Turkish fabric manufacturing company, saving nearly 90% of jobs, according to a court decision consulted by AFP.

The company Migiboy Tekstil offered more than 1.5 million euros to take over Naf Naf and committed to saving the jobs of 521 people and retaining 100 stores own.

Launched in 1973

As a reminder, the company was placed in receivership in September 2023. In particular, significant "rent payment arrears" accumulated during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The company launched in 1973 by two Pariente brothers currently employs 660 people in France and has 131 stores. According to its spokesperson, it posted a turnover of 141 million euros, "and growing", in 2022.

Naf Naf is not the only brand to face the crisis currently affecting ready-to-wear brands. In recent months, many of them have experienced financial difficulties.
