Narbonnais Baptiste Abescat-Leroy joins ASBH next season

New reinforcement for next season at ASBH, with the signing for two seasons of Narbonne third row Baptiste Abescat-Leroy. He joins the club after the signing of second row Cameron Dodson from Aurillac.

Béziers continues its recruitment for next season and refines its squad. Baptiste Abescat-Leroy, the current third line of Narbonne, who can play flanker as well as third line center, has signed up for the next two seasons at Béziers. With a solid build (1.89 m; 101 kg), he made his debut at Avenir Castanéen in Fédérale 1 before joining the professional world by signing with the Racing Club Narbonnais in 2020.

Victim of a ruptured cruciate ligament last season, Baptiste Abescat-Leroy has been causing panic since his return to the meadows this season, with 8 tries scored in 15 starts for the Aude club. Renowned for his taste for combat, the 23-year-old player will try to flourish in a team that is currently running at full capacity, while his profile interested several other Pro D2 teams.
