Narcobanditry: a woman plays bait in Nîmes after a flirting plan on an application, a man is shot with an automatic pistol

Le 28  mars 2021, un homme était attiré dans un guet-apens et il est tombé sur un homme qui a ouvert le feu avec un pistolet automatique.

Sentences of up to 13 years in prison were requested this Thursday, September 12, before the criminal court against a man suspected of having ordered a murder on March 28, 2021 in the Pissevin sector. In reality, the man was lured into an ambush by a woman who had flirted with him on an app. The man fell into a trap and went to the meeting place thinking that he would probably get a sexual relationship. At the scene, a man came out of a bush and opened fire with an automatic pistol, seriously wounding his target without killing him.

The woman who played the bait and admitted in court that she had worked as a prostitute in the past. She admitted to being the bait and to having played this role but assured that she had been told that the meeting was to be used to put pressure on a man who owed money and not to kill him. The prosecution requested a three-year prison sentence and a committal warrant against her. The alleged instigator of the shooting admitted to being a drug trafficker but formally denied being the person giving the orders. Her lawyer, Mr. Penard, pleaded for acquittal in this regard.

Mr. Abdelghani Merah, defending "the bait" pleaded for a more lenient sentence. She acknowledged a role "as a taste giver". She indicated that at the time she was a prostitute. Two convictions were reportedly handed down this Thursday evening, including a 10-year sentence, we learned from an unofficially confirmed source.
