The launch of the station Parker Solar Probe took place at Cape CanaveralToday, August 12, the National Board of the USA on Aeronautics and research of space administration (NASA) launched a probe to study the Sun. This is stated in the message on the NASA website, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine

It is reported that the launch of the automatic station Parker Solar Probe, whose mission is to study the Sun. Probe launched into outer space launch vehicle Delta IV, which was launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

We will remind, on the eve of NASA postponed the launch of solar probe Parker. The transfer start to the day is explained by the lack of time before the closure of the start screen.

Before it was reported that the probe needs to fly at a record close distance from the Sun and to explore the processes that occur at the border of the crown and the atmosphere. On the probe there is a special equipment for measuring electromagnetic field strength of the Sun and determine the nature of the particles that emits a star. It is assumed that scientists will be able to get answers to questions about the interaction of the solar corona from the photosphere, the upper layer of the Sun, and understand how the emerging and dispersed particles of the solar wind.
