National Parks: Tourists will need to book early

UPDATE DAY

National parks are popular with tourists. The Society of Outdoor Establishments of Quebec (Sépaq) invites holidaymakers to book early to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Sépaq wishes to prevent a holidaymaker from being forced to turn back path at the entrance to a park, due to a lack of space.

The Parc national du Bic in Rimouski has indicated that it has already reached the same visitor rate as in 2019. However, this is a slight decrease compared to the summers of 2020 and 2021. However, Bic National Park did not expect to break its records.

Sépaq therefore recommends that visitors who do not accommodation require booking the day before before visiting a national park. For those who wish to reserve a campground or a chalet, for example, it is recommended to book several weeks in advance.
