The Houston Rockets will be without DeMarcus Cousins, Eric Gordon, Mason Jones and John Wall for at least two games while they complete NBA coronavirus protocols.
Their quarantine is due to end on Wednesday, if they test negative by then.
The Rockets visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night in their inaugural game of the 2020-2021 season.
The Rockets were scheduled to start their regular schedule last Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game was postponed, however, because the Rockets did not have enough players available.
The Rockets will also cross swords with the Nuggets in Denver on Monday night.
James Harden is expected to play in Saturday’s game. He was forced to self-isolate for four days, for breaking NBA rules relating to coronavirus protocols.
Harden’s absence is one of the reasons for the postponement of Wednesday’s game.
