On April 7, the gendarmes intercepted a stolen car in Calvisson with 195 stolen items on board. Two Albanian nationals were taken to the detention center after their custody.

The gendarmes managed to get their hands on nearly 200 stolen items after a car reported stolen was spotted in the Calvisson area on April 7 last. Several gendarmerie units were directed towards this commune of Vaunage, joined by a Nîmes crew from the national police. The vehicle may have been "intercepted. On board, two Albanian nationals were arrested and no less than 195 stolen objects were discovered (jewelry, alcohol, cash, digital, perfumes…). Some of the victims have already been identified and the stolen items returned", indicated the Gard gendarmerie group.

The two suspects were placed in police custody and will have to answer for their actions before the courts . In the meantime, finding themselves in an irregular situation on the territory, they are placed in an administrative detention center", the gendarmerie group also specified.
