The true story of Annabelle doll
But what still freaks out is surely knowing that the film is inspired by a real haunted doll. No, it's not a joke! Annabelle actually really existed. Judy Spera, the daughter of the Warren spouses, explained that as a child, she was freaked out by this doll. “She's supposed to be just a doll that little girls love, but that's not the case at all. I've seen her for many years and have come to be terrified of her.” she explained.
The spouses recovered Annabelle which had previously belonged to a student nurse in the 70s. thatthis doll was inhabited by the spirit of Annabelle, a little girl who died during her childhood. The young woman would have finally contacted the Warrens after having had a glimpse of the demonic attitude of the doll she kept at her home. If that doesn't give you chills! In addition to this first film, Annabelle was entitled to two sequels. After all, we can never have enough horror movies in our lives…
