In order to celebrate its sixth anniversary, the Fil rouge Midi Libre, which aims to put women in the spotlight, organized a grand gala. The opportunity to reward committed women with four trophies.

Advisor and trainer in career development and business development, Nathalie Ponce is also president and founder of the women's network “Gard A Elles” in Nîmes and now in Alès.

This professional network made up of active women of different functions, ages, origins, professions and passions was created for women and by women. "GAE was born from an observation: all women have something wonderful to share, we simply have to give them space for that", she explains.

"This job as a man, which made me a woman…" . Karima Tahiri, interior designer and metalworker, launched into metal creation in 2014 (kt light sculptor).

In her workshop located on the Larzac plateau, she tames steel plates of varying thickness and creates magnificent objects, playing with light and shadow, like an artistic ironworker. "I only accept this trophy if all the women accept it with me", she declares on stage during the ceremony."If the world were clear, art would not be, as Camus said", then quotes Fabienne Arata-Camps, general director of LinkedIn France, in him presenting this prize.

"I dedicate this award to all the children and adolescents who trusted us by telling us their sometimes painful stories, to all the parents, professionals with who we have set up French and European projects, and to all the volunteers who are on the ground as I speak to you ", explains Gabriella Cairo, president of the ’ Nîmes association Alphé (association for the prevention of harassment at school) which she created in 2014.

"It’s thanks to all of them that we were able to grow and gain skills to better help them prevent harassment between young people and establish healthier relationships. Children are the adults of tomorrow. We are happy to contribute, in our small way, to more peace in the world, continues the woman who is also the founder of Audonia, a specialist in psychological violence and member of the victimology society.

"It’s an honor that you chose me and that you chose CleanTech Vallée",declared Virginie Monnier-Mangue, deputy director at Enedis Languedoc-Roussillon, upon receiving her award. CleanTech Vallée is an association created in 2018 which aims to develop the clean technology industry to support the ecological transition.

It is part of an economic reconversion project for the territory, marked in particular by the closure of the Aramon thermal power station (Gard).  "I wanted to reinvent the post-oil era. We have invested 53 million euros in around thirty projects. We do what I call territorial permaculture. The challenge of climate change requires us to adapt, to find solutions together. We need to bring women into this sector, we need to encourage vocations among women in these green professions which constitute the bulk of tomorrow's jobs.
