New check delivery after a month of actions by Copains d’abord de Sète

Grâce à ses actions en avril dernier, l’association sétoise Les copains d’abord a collecté 7 000 € au profit d’associations montpelliéraines accompagnant des personnes touchées par la maladie.

It was on Thursday, July 18, at the 17th branch of the Arbre Blanc in Montpellier that the Sète association Les amis d’first presented a check for some 7  000 € to representatives of Montpellier associations supporting people affected by the disease.

Oval balls, Porsche and show

This tidy sum is the fruit of the actions undertaken by the association chaired by José Llinares last April. There was the oval ball tournament which raised 1,500 euros; for the benefit of the SEPP (multiple sclerosis association), the gathering of Porsches of Haute-Savoie with a result of 2,000 euros; for the benefit of Orpheopolis (orphans of the national police). Also note, the show by Eric Collado dedicated to the TOM association which provides training in cardiac massages and the MIS (Montpellier Breast Institute) which supports women with breast cancer.

Ball games to finance devices

Finally, José Llinares recalled that the oval ball game is intended to finance Paxman-type devices to limit hair loss in women affected by breast cancer. ;The marketing of the first oval balls made it possible to raise 1 520 € which were handed over to the MIS for their acquisition of the last Paxman.
