From year to year the title of best airport in the world keeps Singapore Changi: research company Skytrax is a rating based on survey of travelers evaluating the level of services. But these impressions were based on the possibilities of leisure, line, speed baggage and so on. A conceptually different rating AirHelp is a company that specialized in helping travelers when flight delays and cancellations. And in this series “Changi” ranks only seventh among the most hassle-free airports.

In the first three – the international airport “Hamad” (Qatar), air gate, Tokyo and Athens. This means that situations involving delays and cancellations, there are resolved faster and sharper (according to AirHelp). Moscow Sheremetyevo took sixth place, “Domodedovo” – 92-e a place, “Koltsovo” in Ekaterinburg – 94-E.

In total, the experts examined 132 airport around the world. The largest transport hub, Frankfurt airport, took the 113-th position, of the Paris “Charles de Gaulle” – 121 place, and closes the rating of Portela in Lisbon. Next to him in the last five airports in “Kuwait”, “Eindhoven” (Netherlands), international airport Henri Coanda in Romania and the main airport of Malta.

Ranked, AirHelp was based on statistics on flight delays. In addition, take into account the feedback of passengers stranded in some airport due to problems with the flight. For airlines, the criteria were mentioned: in addition to the number completed on time flights, AirHelp considered the service and food, as well as the readiness of the crew and other representatives of the airlines to solve problems including how difficult or easy to put the law of compensation and how much it takes time.

In this ranking, “Aeroflot” has got 32nd place: punctuality is estimated at 8.4 points out of 10, the level of service is 8.6, compensation issues – 4,5 (the total score of 7.17). Other Russian airlines in the list are not mentioned. Completing the table – 68 to 72-th place – Ryanair, Korean Air, Kuwait Airways, easyJet and Thomas Cook Airlines.

Best airline to successfully address the questions of the passengers became Qatar Airways: a total score of 8.23 includes comparable with Aeroflot figures for punctuality and service, but the ease of compensation has a higher score of 7.8. Also in the top three – American Airlines (8,07 overall rating of 8.8 – compensation) and Aeromexico (8,07 and 8, respectively).

The highest chance to exercise their rights in case of delay/cancellation – at 9 of the 10 passengers of SAS Scandinavian Airlines, however, the Scandinavians a little inferior to the leaders of the remaining items because took fourth place.
