Nouveau record de contaminations au Mexique

Mexico has recorded on Saturday for the second day in a row a record of contamination at the coronaviruses, with 9 556 new cases registered in 24 hours, according to figures from the federal secretariat of Health.

The total of contagion in Mexico has now reached 434 193, and the death are the number of 47 472, of which 764 have been recorded during the past 24 hours.

On Friday, the number of new reported cases in 24 hours had been 8 458.

Mexico, which account 128.8 million inhabitants, is the third largest country in the world in terms of deaths from the coronavirus behind the United States and Brazil, since it has surpassed Thursday the United Kingdom.

However, its mortality rate, which is 362,1 deaths per one million inhabitants, is lower than the rates of several countries in Europe and Latin America.
