New Year's Day: Wednesday, January 1, 2025; Easter Monday: Monday, April 21, 2025; Labor Day: Thursday, May 1, 2025; Victory Day 1945: Thursday 8 May 2025; Ascension Day: Thursday 29 May 2025; Whit Monday: Monday 9 June 2025; National Day: Monday 14 July 2025; Assumption Day: Friday 15 August 2025; All Saints' Day: Saturday 1 November 2025; Armistice of 1918: Tuesday, November 11, 2025; Christmas: Thursday, December 25, 2025.
With these 10 out of 11 legal holidays, employees who work from Monday to Friday will be able to enjoy 60 days of rest by taking only 25 days of leave in 2025.
In January
In January 2025, it will be possible to have a long 5-day weekend since New Year's Eve will be on a Wednesday. So, by taking 2 days off, Thursday 2 and Friday 3 January, you will only return to work on Monday 6 January.
In April
For Easter, by taking 8 days off between Tuesday 22 April and Friday 2 May inclusive, you will be able to have 16 days of vacation, from Saturday 18 April to Sunday 4 May.
In May … May 8th, you can enjoy a 4-day extended weekend by taking Friday, May 9th.
The same applies to Ascension Thursday. If you don't work on Friday, May 30, you will be off for 4 days again.
In June
Whit Monday will fall next year on June 9, so you can enjoy a 3-day weekend, from Saturday 7 to Monday, June 9.
In July
The National Day will fall on a Monday, so you will have a 3-day weekend without taking anything off. If you want more vacation, you can take 4 days off from Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th July inclusive. You will therefore have 9 days of vacation.
In August
A 3-day weekend will be looming because the Assumption will take place on Friday 15th. By taking Thursday 14 you can have 4 days.
In November
Armistice Day falling on Tuesday 11, you can take advantage of it to cut 9 days by taking 4 days off: Monday 10, Wednesday 12, Thursday 13 and Friday, November 14.
In December
Armistice Day falling on Tuesday 11, you can take advantage of it to cut 9 days by taking 4 days off: Monday 10, Wednesday 12, Thursday 13 and Friday, November 14.
In December
Armistice Day Since Christmas falls on a Thursday, you can benefit from 9 days away from the office by taking 4 days: Monday 22, Tuesday 23, Wednesday 24 and Friday 26 December.
