Knowing that his future now lay elsewhere, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo agreed to a three-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. 

D According to the NFL Network on Monday, the 31-year-old player will receive the sum of $67.5 million, including a guaranteed total of $34 million. The marriage between the two parties will become official on Wednesday, at the start of the NFL's new year.

Garoppolo has played the last six campaigns with the San Francisco 49ers, which will give the chance to Trey Lance and Brock Purdy to compete for the No. 1 center position next training camp.
