Jonathan Huberdeau is said to have signed an eight-year contract with the Calgary Flames at an annual salary of $10.5 million.
It is therefore an 84 million contract for the player from Saint-Jérôme, who had the best season of his career last year with 30 goals and 115 points in 80 games.
The Quebecer was acquired from the Panthers on July 22 in the trade that sent Matthew Tkachuk to Florida.
