NHL: a Quebec defender extends his stay in Vancouver

NHL: Quebec defender extends stay in Vancouver

Guillaume Brisebois has worked very hard over the past few years, and the Vancouver Canucks rewarded him with a two-year contract extension on Tuesday.

< p> The native of Longueuil has obtained opportunities in dribs and drabs since 2017-2018, the year he joined the Canucks in the American League. However, this season, he played nine games, bringing his total in the National League to 19, and obtained a first point in the Bettman circuit.

The first year of this new pact will be a two-parter, while the second will be a single-parter with the Canucks.

“We are excited to bring Guillaume back for a few more seasons. Thanks to the coaching and guidance he received from Jeremy Colliton and his staff at Abbotsford, Guillaume has taken a step forward this year. We will continue to work with him and expect him to be a strong candidate for an NHL regular next year,” general manager Patrik Allvin said in a statement.

< p>Brisebois has played 241 career games in the American League. This season, the defensive back has six points in 36 games.
