NHL: Kaiden Guhle faster than Connor McDavid

The National Hockey League has released the list of players with the fastest top speeds on their skates so far in 2022-23 and the top 5 are surprising to say the least.
If we could expect Connor McDavid to dominate this ranking, the number 97 is only in sixth place, by virtue of a speed of 38.89 kilometers per hour.
It is rather the former center of the Montreal Canadiens Ryan Poehling who was the fastest on the ice surface this season. He reached an exceptional speed of 39.14 km/h.
Tricolore member Kaiden Guhle surprised many fans with the quality of his skating in his first campaign on the Bettman circuit. He sits fourth and ninth in the standings, having reached speeds of 38.95 km/h and 38.64 km/h.
Brayden Point, Martin Fehervary, Andreas Athanasiou, Jason Dickinson and Nathan MacKinnon (twice) round out the top 10.
