NHL: return to work and recalls for the Canadian
|; DAY
On leave for more than a week, the Montreal Canadiens will take over the collar on Thursday, and a few faces have been added to the group of players.
The men of Martin St-Louis will hold their first practice since January 31 in the afternoon, in Brossard. For the occasion, forwards Alex Belzile and Jesse Ylonen will participate, as they were urgently recalled from the Laval Rocket. The first of the two men also took part in the American League All-Star Game on Monday at Place Bell.
The coach and a handful of players should normally discuss with the media after the session.
The CH is preparing to play two games in two days, Saturday and Sunday, against the New York Islanders and the Edmonton Oilers. These two meetings will take place in the afternoon, as is usually the case during the Super Bowl weekend.
The Montreal team will want to end the series of four defeats that afflicted them before the break of the star game. In its last game, the Habs suffered a 5-4 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The young striker Rafaël Harvey-Pinard nevertheless distinguished himself in the defeat by achieving a double.
