Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber star in 'The Perfect Couple' novel adaptation

Netflix has found its “perfect couple”. Actors Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber have been cast as two of the main characters in the limited series adaptation of the novel The Perfect Couple.
Variety magazine has learned that actress Nicole Kidman has officially signed on to star in this investigative series based on Elin Hilderbrand's novel (which is dubbed by many as ” the queen of beach readings”).
The 55-year-old American actor Liev Schreiber will play the character of Tag Winbury, the father of the groom.
The synopsis of the six-part series reads, “Amelia Sacks (Hewson) is about to marry into one of Nantucket's wealthiest families. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famed novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (Kidman), is planning this first wedding of the season – until a body is found on the beach and everyone becomes suspicious, as secrets go by revealed.”
The cast also includes Eve Hewson (as the bride), Dakota Fanning (the sister-in-law) and Isabelle Adjani (the family friend).
< p>Actors Billy Howle (the groom), Meghann Fahy, Ishaan Khattar, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, Mia Isaac, Donna Lynne Champlin will also be in the series, which will begin production next week.
Nicole Kidman, 55, will also act as executive producer with Per Saari through their company Blossom Films.
