On this Saturday, June 22, a light rain failed to extinguish the fervor of the fans gathered in the arenas for the Calogero concert. A look back at an evening where the music shone under a capricious sky.

It’was a Saturday, June 22, worthy of the greatest Hollywood scenarios where the rain played hide and seek with the nerves of the festival-goers, but where the magic of Calogero finally triumphed& nbsp;!

A love story

The evening began with Marie Poulain, Calogero's accomplice on his latest album A.M.O.U.R., released in September 2023. As the drizzle intensified until it strongly resembled a sauce, the artist took the liberty of joking: &quot ;I hope it's not because of me!" However, on stage, his voice and his guitar playing warm up the atmosphere despite the drops.

Magic. Just before Calogero takes the stage, the rain stops. Should we see a sign there ? Maybe after all… Alone, the artist from Échirolles greets the audience warmly before settling down at the piano and singing L’entreprises , title of Françoise Hardy whose portrait is projected on the giant screen of the arenas. Tribute.

"I'm more comfortable singing"

"I talk a little more now, although I'm more comfortable singing. Little by little, I'm getting a taste for it even if it means saying stupid things. Surrounded by his musicians, the artist with a thirty-year career electrifies the arenas, successively swapping his bass for the benefit of the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, up to the cello, thus offering a wide range of his talent, as the reflection of a rich and accomplished career.

In the presence of his family in the arena, Calogero also shared certain anecdotes, notably evoking the memory of his grandmother, Marie, honored in a song from his last album. Marie, like the first name of Marie Poulain whom he will invite back on stage when performing Le hall des departures, a title composed as a duet in which both sing about love lost and then found again, like the comings and goings of trains at the station.
