Nîmes Harvest Fair: partying against all odds!

Despite the cold, brave party-goers filled the main roads and bodegas.

We like the feria like that! With varied atmospheres and for all tastes. Take, for example, when at 8 p.m. sharp, the big parade of street music starts, this Saturday, in front of Carré d'art. We loved Moz Drumb's and their “percu” bright.

We also like it in magnificent courtyards, like on the Place d'Assas with the Carré rose where DJs Pierrick Menras and Geoffrey Rancounaïre officiated yesterday.

We of course like it at Prolé, an essential popular bodega where you don't have to show your credentials too much before entering. We love it of course at Pepe de Montijo, a bodega “old-fashioned”, simple, friendly and bullfighting which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

We finally love it on the boulevards when, at the Antonins, a powerful sax perched on the roofs makes the crowd vibrate. We finally love it at the Bar du Midi, where the Veilleurs made a successful comeback yesterday. Long live the multicoloured party!
