Les Crocos, qui ont retrouvé Picouleau et attendent le tirage de la Coupe de France, ont reçu ce lundi la visite d’un ancien partenaire.
Three players were missing on Monday, September 30 at La Bastide, the day of the return to action after a weekend of rest: Mexico, injured in the ankle on Friday at Villefranche (0-0), Doukansy (ill) and Diallo, reported to be suffering from a tibia injury. The first two should quickly return to play. Not the third, who was under contract until June 2026, since he left the Crocos, having been transferred to QRM in the afternoon!

The session took place under the gaze of a former member of the Croco house: Zakary Lamgahez. The young central defender, 21, joined Le Mans (National) this summer where he signed his first professional contract. “It's going well”, assures the man who has so far played four matches, all as a starter.
Exempt next Friday, the Manceaux were entitled to three days of rest, and Lamgahez took advantage of this to return to Nîmes and warmly greet his former partners. The date of the reunion on the field, he has it well in mind: “It will be on December 6th at the Antonins!”

Mendy suspended, Picouleau back
We are still far from this 14th day. The Crocodiles started preparing for Sochaux's visit on Friday at the Antonins, for the 8th day of the National. Captain Formose Mendy will be suspended. Waly Diouf, also absent in Villefranche due to suspension, will replace him in central defence and will team up with Paviot.
Picouleau, who suffered a contusion to his right knee against Versailles and was out of action in Villefranche, will once again apply for a place in the squad. The left-footed midfielder resumed group training normally on Monday.
For Amara, he will resume training with the team next week
This is not yet the case for Amara, who is continuing his re-athleticisation under the orders of fitness trainer Alexandre Duclaux. The former Paris 13 Atletico player, who is treating an edema in his foot, only made one appearance, thirteen minutes against Orléans, on the first day. But he sees the light at the end of the tunnel: Amara hopes to participate fully in the sessions with the group next week.
In the Cup, Hermach hopes for a short trip
This Monday's training session was open to the public and the press. It will once again be the only one of the week, with all other sessions scheduled to be held behind closed doors. While the Championship is on his mind, Adil Hermach will be closely following the draw for the fifth round of the Coupe de France, which will be held on Wednesday, October 2, starting at 6 p.m., at Crédit Agricole Languedoc in Maurin (Lattes).
Fifth round which marks the entry into the competition of the National clubs. The crocodile coach, who attended the qualification of Beaucaire (N3) in Vauvert (R1) on Sunday, expressed only one wish: “To avoid a five-hour drive.” And to let go in the process: “With the luck that we have…”
