Noah Centineo speaks (again) on his addictions : “My relationship with sobriety is different”

A few years ago, Noah Centineo has gone through a very dark period during which he fell into alcohol and drugs. After his first confidences, the actor of To all the boys I’ve loved 2 returns once again on his addictions and his struggle to become sober.

Like Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Zac Efron or Lindsay Lohan, Noah Centineo was addict to alcohol and drugs between 17 and 21 years of age, he was consumed from the MDMA, but not that : “I smoked a lot of stuff. I was really upset, it was a very dark period of my life“, he explained in an interview with the magazine Harper’s Bazaar.

“I went back to drinking”

The actor of To all the boys I’ve loved 2 has once again entrusted on his addiction in an interview with Variety : “My relationship with sobriety is different. I became sober for a year and then I went back to drinking.

By contrast, Noah Centineo does not touch at all to the drug : “there are a lot of things that I have left in the past and that I no longer do. However, when I go to work, I’ll stop everything“, he says, before adding that it happens to him smoking a cigarette when he is in a bad day, but according to him, “the coffee is better“.

“I am solely responsible for my actions”

The star, in a relationship with Alexis Ren, has also explained to Harper’s Bazaar of its techniques to not back into his addictions : “I take baths, I meditate, I keep a diary. I talk a lot to me-even if something that I have been able to make me angry. […] I am solely responsible for my actions.
