The national director of the Québec public Health, Horacio Arruda is participating this year in the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie, and encourages Quebecers to move in order to “keep the physical health and mental health.”
“What is important, what is not to be an accomplished athlete, it is moving, has launched Dr. Arruda a few minutes before the start of the second day. We can’t all be athletes but we can all move, we can all walk, we can all do the physical activity.”

The grind 2020 as a Great Challenge to the whole of the population of quebec to participate in the event by collecting miles in order to reach the target of 1 million kilometres. Saturday morning, more than 430 000 kilometres had already been accumulated.
