SHERBROOKE | day camps in Sherbrooke to maintain the cap: the groups will remain smaller this summer.
On Wednesday, the public health has authorized the return to regular classes of 15 children per monitor.
However, the City of Sherbrooke and day camps believe that this ratio is too high, due to the context of a health crisis. It will be a question, for this summer season, a facilitator for about six or seven people.
The City explains that it does not have premises big enough to accommodate 15 young people by applying measures of social distancing.
Thus, it is approximately 3000 young people who will be able to attend the day camps at Sherbrooke this summer, rather than 5000 as usual.
