Numerous financial aids presented at the 2nd edition of the Renovation and habitat fair in Bagnols-sur-Cèze

The second Renovation and Habitat exhibition was held this Saturday, April 20 at the multicultural room in Bagnols-sur-Cèze. The owners came to find out about the different financial aid they can benefit from to renovate their homes.

The major urban projects department of the Bagnols-sur-Cèze town hall organized the 2nd edition of the Renovation and Habitat fair this Saturday, April 20 in the multicultural room. The public, fewer in number than last year according to the local craftsmen present, came to find out about the numerous financial aids available to renovate their homes in the city center.

As part of the OPAH-RU (programmed housing improvement and urban renewal operation), in partnership with Anah (national housing agency), subsidies can be granted for carrying out energy saving work (insulation, heating, joinery), degraded housing (making housing more secure, enhancing facade) or arrangements for the autonomy of elderly or disabled people.

You must use an RGE company

Two sectors have been demarcated. In the heart of the city, owner-occupiers, landlords and co-owners are eligible for aid. In a wider area, from the town exit towards Tresques to the other exit towards Pont-Saint-Esprit, only the owner-occupiers are concerned. They must apply for subsidies before the start of the work, which must be carried out by an RGE company (recognized guarantor of the environment). Requests then go through the UDAP (departmental unit of architecture and heritage), which intervenes in protected areas. "We issue a favorable or unfavorable opinion on the completion of the work", specifies Rafaël Benachour, heritage engineer at UDAP.

For facade renovation in the heart of the city, an owner-occupier can obtain up to 50% tax relief thanks to the Heritage Foundation. And it can go up to 100% tax relief for landlords. "It can quickly become very interesting, underlines a representative of the Heritage Foundation organization. To benefit from this advantage, the facade must be visible from the street and respect what the UDAP recommends."
