Odell Beckham son in Ravens sights?

The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly made a contract offer to wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

ESPN reported on Monday .

“OBJ” has been a free agent since the end of the 2021 campaign. He seriously injured his knee during Super Bowl LVI, which he won with the Rams of Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old skipped the NFL's final season to recover from his injury. He has eight seasons of experience on the Goodell circuit, he who also played for the New York Giants and the Cleveland Browns.

In 96 career games, Odell junior caught 531 balls for gains of 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns. He received invitations to the Pro Bowl game in his first three years in the NFL.

To return to the Ravens, the Maryland team is looking for a real number 1 wide receiver for several years already. Since quarterback Lamar Jackson's era with the Ravens, the 2019 campaign, the club hasn't relied on very dangerous offensive weapons to help him.

Last year was tight end Mark Andrews who amassed the most yards on catches. He put his hands on 73 fly balls for 847 yards and five touchdowns.

In March, Jackson publicly stated that he had requested a trade from the Ravens. However, it seems that the team has no intention of acquiescing to his request. Attracting Odell Jr. to Baltimore could be the organization's strategy to convince the talented quarterback to stay.
