The american dream of the four finalists of Revolution ended abruptly last week. Selected to participate in America’s Got Talent, the dancers have finally had to withdraw due to the pandemic.
The adventure had begun for the quartet AAAS’, composed by Alexandre Carlos, Adriano Ieropoli, Alex Francoeur and Samantha Scali. Invited by the production of’America’s Got Talent to take part in the auditions on television last march (just before the outbreak of the pandemic), the dancers had wowed judges and the public, carving out a place in the official competition.
But the COVID-19 will be wanted otherwise. The canada-u.s. border is currently closed, Quebecers were not able to present themselves to the new shoots, which were due to start last week.
“It was hoped that the situation comes within order to time. It really is believed until the last minute, ” says Alex Francoeur at the end of the wire.
“America’s Got Talent, this is the biggest issue in the world. It has been a dream, and she was lost. This is a big grief that we must do, ” adds the dancer.
Their delivery was scheduled to be broadcast during the episode of the last week. Because of their withdrawal, only a few short excerpts were presented on the air.
The experience has been a trainer for four dancers. This short stay on the plateau has allowed them to experience the whirlwind that involves a production of the caliber of’America’s Got Talent.
“We spent 48 hours in California to do interviews, photos, rehearsals, in addition to the recording. It was really, but really intense. I think that one had never been so stressed that at the time of mounting on the scene, ” remembers Alex Francoeur.
The AAAS‘ attempt to once again chance the next year ? The production would have got to know that ” the door is always open “, according to Alex Francoeur. But the four dancers have not yet made a decision.
“We’ll see… It remains the tour of Revolution to finish. And we would like to build our own dance show, the four together, here in Quebec. Then we will decide time and place “, avance-t-il.
