"These unacceptable and shocking behaviors have no place" at OL, the Rhone club was outraged in view of the images.  

Two young women wearing a headscarf who came to watch the broadcast of the PSG-OL Coupe de France final on Saturday evening at the Groupama stadium, near Lyon, were violently attacked by another spectator, a t -we learned Monday from the ’association "Her Game Too".

Images of the attack have been circulating since Monday morning on social networks, initially with a report on X from a witness present nearby on the lawn, in the middle of the overheated public, then a press release from the OL.

Nudges and insults

A supporter present in the front row in front of the screen "hit one of the two and tried to tear off the veil from the other’ ;quot;, explains this witness in a series of messages on X which provoked a cascade of reactions, some threatening.

"The two girls call a guy from the social security, who seems to not understand in mode nothing happened (shame on you @OL for having stewards like him)", he says, saying he is ready to testify. The attacker was finally removed from the pitch after a second intervention with another steward, said the most disturbed victim, a 24-year-old secretary living in the Lyon metropolitan area, who filed a complaint Monday morning.

L’OL says it wants to provide "all its support" to the victims

This OL supporter, who has supported the club "for years", says she has received blows to the face and arms, accompanied by racist insults and "obscenities". Olympique Lyonnais "strongly condemns the violence which took place on Saturday evening at Groupama Stadium", & ;quot;provides its full support to the victims" and will support them "in their complaint by becoming a civil party alongside them", reacted the club in a press release published on X.

"This unacceptable and shocking behavior has no place" at the OL, is -he writes. "No form of violence has any place in a stadium", for his part reacted on X l& rsquo;association "Her Game Too" France, dedicated to the fight against sexism in the stands, which served as an interface between the club and the victims.
