US President Joe Biden said Monday that there was “no reason to panic” over the spread of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19, in a speech at the White House.
He called on Americans to be vaccinated or to receive their booster doses, as well as to wear a mask inside, believing that “sooner or later” this new variant would also appear in the United States.
