Omicron: “No reason to panic” in the face of the variant, according to Joe Biden

US President Joe Biden said Monday that there was “no reason to panic” over the spread of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19, in a speech at the White House.
He called on Americans to be vaccinated or to receive their booster doses, as well as to wear a mask inside, believing that “sooner or later” this new variant would also appear in the United States.
President Joe Biden “does not anticipate at this stage” any further travel restrictions. & nbsp;
