On a family snow vacation, he ski jumps, falls badly and kills himself

Un skieur âgé de 35 ans a fait une terrible chute mardi 6 février 2024 dans un snowpark de Tignes, en Savoie.

With family

The man was skiing with members of his family when the tragedy occurred. The rescuers immediately went to the scene to help the victim, who was unconscious but were unable to do anything to resuscitate him, reports France bleu.

The death of the skier was noted on site by a SMUR doctor.

Investigation open

The Albertville public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of this accident.

Psychological cell

The investigation was entrusted to the high mountain gendarmerie platoon (PGHM) of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. A psychological unit has been set up for the victim's relatives.
