À l’occasion de la diffusion du dernier film de Jacques Audiard, le cinéma de Millau propose un ciné-rencontre en présence de certains des techniciens du film.

And light is the subject of this thriller that shook the Cannes Film Festival in need of a great film. “Overqualified and overworked, Rita, played by Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy) uses her talents as a lawyer in the service of a large firm more inclined to whitewash criminals than to serve justice. But an unexpected way out opens up for her: helping the cartel leader Manitas to retire from business and carry out the plan he has been refining in secret for years: finally becoming the woman he has always dreamed of being.” That's the synopsis of Jacques Audiard's tenth film, once again propelled to the top of the bill.

“Jacques Audiard takes us on a thriller set in a drug-trafficking atmosphere in Mexico, an assumed musical comedy, a film about transidentity, with humor and emotion. The mix of genres and universes is as dissimilar as it is surprising. And to top it all off, the soundtrack is fantastic," continues the director, who insists on the presence of two technicians. "They will have many to deliver to us. It is time to learn everything about their profession that mixes the artistic and the technical. It should also be noted that Alice is a former student of the cinema section of the Lycée Jean-Vigo."
