On the Place du Marché in Nîmes, a hole ready to welcome the new palm tree

Work has started on the Market Square.

The Place du Marché under construction before the reinstallation of the famous palm tree, symbol of the city of Nîmes. 

The work began on Place du Marché in Nîmes, before the reinstallation of the palm tree symbol of the city which will be planted on April 18. 

In the center of the square, the slabs have been moved. A large hole was dug, measuring two meters by two, 1.50 meters deep, in order to unclog the former resident and accommodate its successor, a Washingtonia palm 8 meters high.
