L'Américain Michael Mmoh, tombeur du Nîmois Benjamin Bonzi au premier tour de l'Open Sud de France de Montpellier, a réalisé un service surpuissant pour le gain du premier set ce lundi 29 janvier.

On TV, things go quickly. On the court, it's almost invisible. In the first round of the Open Sud de France, in a match between Michael Mmoh and Nîmes Benjamin Bonzi, the American made his first set ball almost unplayable. The reason ? A service at… 239 km/h. It is thanks to his service that Mmoh built his success on the Frenchman.

Benoît Paire served at the same speed against Andy Murray a few minutes later.

On a set ball

During the second set, Bonzi almost succeeded in countering the American by giving himself a set point at 5-4. In vain. The 27-year-old ultimately lost 6-3, 7-5.
