Frenchwoman Sandrine Martinet, 41, did not achieve the feat of beating the world number one, Kazakhstan's Akmaral Nauatbek, in the final of the Paralympic tournament, this Thursday, September 5.

No feat for Sandrine Martinet but a magnificent silver medal won, the fifth Paralympic Games trinket of her career (1 gold, 4 silver). The 41-year-old native of Montreuil failed to overcome the terror Akmaral Nauatbek, 25, and head of the discipline. The latter won by ippon.
