Désigné porteur de la flamme olympique, notamment grâce à la vidéo virale sur internet "Baptiste t’es pas net !", Baptiste Moirot a décidé de se retirer jeudi 18 avril, suite à une accusation d’agression sexuelle et des messages à caractère sexuel à des mineures.

"Following the accusations made against me and after discussion with the organizing committee, I made the decision to withdraw from the torch relay, respect and to protect my family and myself, he wrote on his Instagram page. Sexual messages sent to minors

A few days after the announcement of his selection to carry the flame, several testimonies were published on social networks where we see Baptiste Moirot sending messages of a sexual nature to people claiming to be minors at the time of the facts, as in a video published on TikTok and relayed on X.

According to our colleagues from 20 Minutes, a young woman even accused Moirot of sexual assault after meeting him at a party, after seeing the numerous testimonies on social networks.
