The Frenchman won a new medal on Saturday, September 7, after the one he brought back from Tokyo.

The Frenchman Remy Boullé won the bronze medal in the 200 m Kayak KL1 on Saturday, the first for the French para-canoe in Paris. Already in bronze in 2021 in Tokyo, Remy Boullé, 36, won a new medal (crossing the line in 47 sec 01), finishing behind the Hungarian Peter Kiss (in gold) and the Brazilian Luis Carlos Cardoso.

The KL1 category is reserved for paddlers whose trunk and leg function is limited.

Paraplegic after an accident parachuting

Remy Boullé, who became paraplegic after a parachuting accident at the age of 26, thus enabled French canoeing to win its first medal during this edition in Paris.
