Pour cette fin de mois de juillet, les axes routiers sur l’ensemble du pays devraient être particulièrement chargés. Découvrez les prévisions Bison Futé pour le week-end.

As August approaches, more and more French people are heading on vacation. Thus, traffic should be particularly dense throughout France, both in the direction of departures and in the direction of returns, according to Bison Futé forecasts.

Friday

The roads should be stormed from the start of the weekend, as evidenced by Bison Futé who sees red and black for departures. "Traffic will be heavy from the end of the morning and until late in the evening on most roads serving the Atlantic coast (particularly the A10, A63 motorways), and the Mediterranean coast (A7 , A8, A9)", can we read on the site.

As for Île-de-France, due to the start of the Paris Olympic Games, traffic will be extremely difficult, so the entire region is placed in black. As for the return, "traffic will also be important in the direction of returns".

Saturday

Saturday will be the worst day of the weekend, since the whole country is black in the direction of departures. "Traffic will be very difficult from dawn and into the evening on the North-South transit highways (A7, A10, A75). The main routes serving the Atlantic coast (A63, N165) and Mediterranean coast (A8, A9, A61) will also be very busy", warns Bison Futé. Traffic should be at its busiest shortly before midday.

In the return direction as well, the roads will be congested. "The A7, A9 and A10 motorways will concentrate the main difficulties", reports the site.

Sunday

Traffic will be much smoother for the last day of the weekend. However, some complications are expected on the A7 and A75 motorways. Traffic will lighten in the afternoon and end of the day.

In the direction of returns, Île-de-France will still encounter difficulties until the end of the day.
