Passenger ejected and scooter hit: serious accident on the sidelines of a wedding convoy, two seriously injured

À Nantes, un convoi à la sortie d’un mariage ce vendredi 10 mai en début d’après-midi, a été impliqué dans un grave accident de la route.

Two people were seriously injured in a road accident this Friday, May 10 in Nantes. Two vehicles reportedly collided, hitting a scooter in the collision. The two cars were participating in a wedding convoy, indicates France Bleu, which specifies that the circumstances of this serious road accident are still to be clarified.

Around twenty firefighters intervened to help the victims. Among them, the passenger of one of the cars, who was apparently ejected in the impact, and the driver of the scooter, also seriously injured.

Dangerous overtaking

Our colleagues specify that the driver of one of the vehicles involved was found in a state of shock by the firefighters. According to Ouest France, one of the cars involved in the accident was an Audi, which was traveling at high speed.

A witness to the collision says that "the Audi overtook, saw that a car was coming in front. The driver wanted to return to his lane, the tire rubbed against the sidewalk , which caused the car to roll over for the first time. The woman interviewed by our colleagues added that she saw two people sitting on the door windows.
