Patrick Mahomes' brother arrested for sexual assault

Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was handcuffed and charged with sexual assault on Wednesday.

The Kansas City Police Department 'Overland Park confirmed the thing to the KCTV5 network.

The acts alleged against the pivot's younger brother allegedly took place in a restaurant-bar last February. Jackson Mahomes allegedly repeatedly forcibly kissed a 40-year-old woman by grabbing her by the throat.

The alleged victim is the owner of the 'establishment. She also accuses the 22-year-old of shoving one of her employees on the same evening.

Jackson Mahomes was released after posting $100,000 bail. He faces three counts of sexual assault and one count of misdemeanor. He could face a prison sentence of up to 55 months.

“Our investigation has shown us that he has evidence material that rebuts the allegations made against Jackson by the person accusing him and his numerous witnesses, Jackson Mahomes' attorney said in a statement. We have contacted law enforcement to provide them with the results of our investigation, so that they have a complete picture of the situation.”

Jackson Mahomes is regularly talked about for his social media posts. In 2021, he was criticized in particular for throwing water at a Baltimore Ravens fan during one of his brother's games.
