“Poke Wave” sets up its Hawaiian fast-food restaurant a stone’s throw from Place de la Comédie, in Montpellier

Rue de Verdun, le commerce accueillait le second Marie-Blachère du centre-ville mais à partir de ce mercredi 8 mai, place à une nouvelle enseigne de restauration rapide, le premier de la marque à Montpellier : Poke Wave.

The very first fast restaurant of the Poke Wave chain opens its doors this Wednesday, May 8, near the Comédie. The concept is intended to be innovative, based on typically Hawaiian dishes. In the new premises which replace Marie-Blachère (the bakery on rue de la Loge remains in place), on the initiative of two partners: Thibaud Robert-Moreira and   Jordan Lechuga. Their dishes take you on a journey to the Pacific Ocean on a base of vinegared rice: “signature” Pokes. but also a Poke "creation" in which we choose all of its ingredients. Everything is possible: strawberries, mango, cucumbers or even radishes, accompanied by raw fish or meat, for a rather atypical sweet and sour treat. Eat on site, inside or on the terrace, or take away.

In terms of practical information, the place is open 7 days a week, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. In terms of prices, the Pokes "signatures" and "creation" are 10.90 €, or 14.90 € for a more complete snack, with drink and dessert. Opening this Wednesday, May 8. Official inauguration on June 8. If you're keen, you can even go surfing!
